- What is Ventry?
- Ventry is third-party dependency and operational resilience intelligence software for regulated organisations. It holds your third-party register, the contractual arrangements and services underneath it, and the assessments you make about them — then produces regulatory returns from that same record, including the UK Material Third Party Register (FCA, PRA, Bank of England) and the DORA Register of Information. Ventry Evidence is a reusable, immutable evidence library — collect a file once and reuse it across every control and framework it genuinely supports. Ventry Assurance tracks your readiness toward ISO 27001, SOC 2 and Cyber Essentials as an honest picture of what is done and what is still missing; it does not issue certificates or replace an accredited assessor. Every action that matters for compliance writes to an insert-only evidence log, so what you hand an auditor is a record — not a reconstruction.
- Do I need to sign up to use it?
- Yes. Ventry is built for teams, so every account belongs to an organisation. Create an account, name your organisation, and you land straight in your register.
- How many third parties can I add on the free plan?
- Ten. When you reach the limit you will see a clear upgrade prompt on the next add — nothing you have already created is ever hidden or removed.
- Where is my data stored?
- In the EU (Ireland), on infrastructure scoped so only members of your organisation can read your records.
- How do I report a bug?
